So, today (October 17th)...is the anniversary of the earthquake that devistated a good portion of San Francisco. This is to San Francisco Bay Area people on my livejournal, but open to anyone that can remember as well. Where were you when the earthquake hit? What memories do you have of seeing the aftermath, either live or on tv?
Here's mine...I was seated in front of the TV at my grandma's house, when my dad started yelling at me to get away from the bookcase. I seriously did not even FEEL the earthquake...guess I was too engrossed at whatever was on television. xD
As for footage, I remember seeing the section of the bay bridge collapsing, a car falling down the hole. It sticks out the most, I dunno why. x_X
